Very disappointing
We liked the shape and look of fire but the glow is very minimal and the heat is very low: very disappointed;

Had first one 5 years before it broke.
I bough this in 2016 and it was used moderately. Last month it worked but continuously cut off, kept the fan blowing but no heat and wasn't reliable. It has a 3 year warenty but this was 5 years old. I've now bough the same one again and will see if this one lasts longer or shorter

I really like it
I’ve purchased this fire at the weekend and can honestly say I was in two minds to purchase based on reviews but went to the store and looked fine so continued with the purchase and I’m so glad I have it fits brilliantly and creates the perfect ambiance in our lounge it is slightly noisy which I thought being the price it would of been quieter but overall would recommend.

Weak product
Dosnt work properly, switches off after few minutes, we've had it about a year.

Broken after 1 year
Bought this just before last Christmas, so not one year old yet. Worked well last year. This year however will not switch on - via remote nor on the side panel! Will be getting in touch with B&Q to make a complaint and to see if they will honour the guarantee.

Good looking fire.....
Bought to to put on narrow section of wall in my kitchen to get an instant warm up on frosty mornings. Gives off a cosy ember light and good heat. Variable settings are a bonus. Good value for money and competitively priced.

Lovely Fire
This is a lovely fire. I bought is solely for the glow feature, as my house is warm enough without the need for any extra heat. The glow is lovely and makes the room feel cosy and snug. I've tried the heater, and is quiet and efficient. The fire is easy to install, with only a few screw holes in the wall necessary. It's attractive and stylish. Excellent value for the price!

I`ve had this over a year now and the flimsy switches have all but now collapsed and fallen apart , great visual effect and easy assembly but it is Noisy
