Fed Up of Thingwall - 9 months ago
Bought product a couple of years ago. Have used twice a year so far. Now went to use it for a third season and the height adjustment for the roller has broken when changing height level.Button sheared off because it is all made of plastic. Am able to just about use it but it only runs lop-sided. No way to mend it seems possible. it should have lasted longer than this.
A poor quality product. Cheap and nasty ! Also the collecting basket was not big enough, it filled up every 5-10 yards! Don't buy it !!!!

Excellent value for money, makes scarifying so easy, does anyone know where to buy the replacement wire "spikes" for the roller ?

I've had one of these for 10 years now and use it many times a year to 'clean up' the lawn. Nothing has broken on it. Once, after it had been in storage over winter, the bearings squeeked a lot, so I opened up the gear unit to grease the inside and was very surprised by the construction All metal, quality gears including, for those who know, a Woodruff key to secure the gear to the shaft. Very unexpected. (look it up if you want to know). I now just hose it down to remove the debris that remains and then make sure that the shaft bearings are lubricated externally. I've never had a problem since. You won't be disappointed!
