I bought the tap 2 years ago. Franke - that should be good, I thought.
It started dripping badly last week. Going on youtube I found out that I need to replace the valve but Franke valves are "special" meaning rather than standard of the shelf 3GBP one I have to wait 2 weeks to get one for 15GBP. And I need 2 as it is impossible to say which valve is dripping before exchanging them.

I called B&Q store about the guarantee repair/replacement/return (5 years it says) they have no idea about returns policy or how to do it. Bad service.

Do NOT buy this! You were warned.

Be warned!

I bought and installed this tap 3 years ago and all was well until it started dripping. In theory either cleaning up the ceramic cartridge or replacing it should have been the solution. Unfortunately I couldn’t find out as taking the ceramic cartridge out proved so much of a nightmare that I’ve given up and will buy a new tap (not Franke) instead. Perhaps mine was a one off but I viewed a YouTube video of someone trying the same thing with the same product. Although he did manage eventually, he had a similar problem trying to take the tap apart. Shame that a potentially good product is spoiled by poor assembly at the factory

I cant believe what a difference this had made - afterall it is only a tap, but it honestly has. Being so tall, it makes washing up so much easier - as it doesnt get in the way. Also, it has a really nice flow. Am very very happy with it :)

Classy

I have just had this tap installed. It looks great and is very stylish. Only down side is that the flow from the warm tap is quite poor. I don't think it is a pressure problem as I didn't have this problem with my previous tap. I could make and drink a cup of tea whilst waiting for the sink to fill:(

Otherwise, really happy with the ease of use and height.
