Be prepared for a lot of cuts...

Good value for money engineered oak faced treads and risers.
As the treads are 1000 x 300 be prepared for a lot of cutting for a standard (250) staircase.
A few are a bit odd looking (depending on section of the tree), and one had to go back as badly marked in the plastic packaging (box perfect, so no marks for QC team.
Overall decent look for the money once slogged all the cuts.

"Fitting Instructions included" Oh no they're not!
Still trying to find laminate to match the stair covering but unable to see in the darkness of my B&Q Superstore which since last year has, at the last count, (yes, sad I know) has 390 roof lights not working STILL!
This product is very poor

The extension doesn't fit properly into the stair. It needs to be sanded down to fit. The extension is of a slighlty different thickness to the stair so it doesn't sit flush. Don't use this for your stairs.

Great product, wouldn't say it was easy to fit. Every piece has to be cut with no room for error, but looks really good when down. Had to take a couple back as different colours. May be coincidence but the offer from B&Q of 4 packs for £350 is good, except couldn't find a store in the North West who stocked more than 3
bad product review - 3 years ago
I ordered a OAK VENEER STAIR FLOORING TREAD RISER KIT to cover my stairs, then ordered 2 extension board to finish off the job, I went to put them in place and realised that it was a completely different colour and pattern. I have called customer service and the store (New Molden). They have been very unhelpful, I have been advised that they can't be changed because already cut. Despite I understand their point, I also understand that with wood you can't spot am completely different pattern and colour unless you cut and put it next to each other. Very poor and inconsistent product, check before you buy!!
