Gimcyn Luxury paint has been designed with DIY in mind. Our dream is to empower anyone to create beautiful spaces in their home with little effort. The ready to go bundle of paint and primer reduces the risk of any reactions that may occur by the use of non-suitable primers. Our Gimcyn Luxury paint, additionally contains reflective crystal which enhances the way that light radiates from the paint, the additional included pre-coloured primer also increases the opacity making the colour of the paint stand out even more. This paint will provide a beautiful finish regardless of experience. The instructions are printed on the label of each item and are easy to follow. The random effect created by the paint means that no specific techniques need to be learned, the paint is made to look great naturally! Gimcyn Luxury can be applied on a single coat after the primer and offers a stylish, elegant look, enhanced by the 3D texture which creates various shades within the wall. Gimcyn Luxury paint is a fantastic, cost effective choice for creating a feature wall in the home, or to attract the attention to one area. It is recommended to use the special effect brush and decorative sponge which are both available from our online store.
- Instructions for Use - Make sure to do test patch with less than 15 gramms to ensure you can achieve the right look before going ahead with the below. Dilute the Gimcyn Luxury primer with 30% of water (0,5 l of primer with 150ml water or 1l of primer with 300mls water) and apply it with short pile or mohair roller. Wait 2 to 4 hours, as long as the primer needs to get fully dry. Open and stir the paint, then apply one coat of Gimcyn Luxury by brush, with a criss-cross technique. If you prefer a brushed effect then leave it as it is or alternatively, after 5 to 10 minutes move the grain of the paint with a decorative sponge to get rid of the brush marks. Make sure to respect the drying time. Create the effect in sections, about a quarter square metre (2-3 feet) at a time. Also, don’t create a sharp ‘edge’ when putting on the paint, spread it around the edges so you’ll be able to connect it. The final finish will be ready in about 30 minutes (touch dry) and it will completely dry after 8 hours.
