I bought this in the hopes of giving my fencing a refresh since the darker fencing on the sides of the house hasn't been painted in years and we had a new fence along the back. We'll, it goes on like water and I wonder if you can see what sections of the back fence are painted compared to unpainted? It basically didn't touch the fresh wood, let alone repaint the faded older parts of the fence! Total waste of my money.

Ideal for preservation of natural fence colour, not to paint. Just what I wanted
Exactly what we wanted

We didn't want our fence painted. We just wanted ours to be brought back to life. This product was perfect for that as it gave it a subtle lift.

Disappointed at first but reapplied a second coat after 15 minutes or so and then you can see the wood absorbing the colour. I brought this over the others available because I didn’t want an orange or red tone but a warm natural wood colour. Very Happy with results.
Should have read the reviews!

Hardly a 'does what is says on the tin' experience. Watery, insipid stuff which, despite its (rather unwholesome) colour seems to have no staining or colouring properties, particularly on new wood. When applying to already stained wood the result is absolutely no difference at all in appearance or colour so I can only hope (vainly I suspect) that it will at least provide an additional weathershield layer.
I notice that the product is marked up as 'new' - and after reading the other reviews it's clearly useless so perhaps B&Q should withdraw it and refund all
