NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE
As long as fitted where no-one ever walks should be ok. Bought these as colour of my flooring, within a year colour completely rubbed off. God knows why anyone still buying. They defeat object of being coloured to match flooring.

Fixings not fit for purpose
Good quality aluminium bar but terrible fixing system. Firstly, requires that you drill into the floor to make allowance for plastic fixing pegs, which isn't ideal if you have pipes running under the floor. Secondly, the plastic fixing pegs will not bang into the specified hole size but bend over and become unusable. Specified hole size is 5mm. 5.5mm seems to be adequate when the hole is lubricated with oil after drilling. Thirdly, the plastic fixings jam in the slot in the aluminium bar. Again, lubrication did the trick. Product is fine when it is successfully fixed, but getting it to that point is not easy

rubbish
carried out instructions as stated, drilled correct size holes, tried to gently tap down and it was downhill from then. plastic pegs bent and one broke off. don't waste your money

Great product
I have purchased two of these and found them to be easy to fit and look good once installed. Probably the best I have used so far TBH. One tip though if using a hammer to install pegs use a piece of wood across the length of the trim and knock down the pins evenly until they meet the floor.

Ease of use
This is the best threshold bar I have ever used, it is so easy to use. Cut to size, drill holes, fit pins to bar and tap into place using a stip of wood and hammer knocking into place a bit at a time.

Dreadful, not fit for purpose.
I needed two of these edging strips to bridge a gap between new wooden floor and existing tiles with a height difference of 13-15mm. I drilled the necessary holes at the centres & depth given on the instructions. Fitted the plastic pins to the underside of the strip and then it went horribly pear shaped. Whilst the pins went into the holes I struggled to get them down without a tap for a hammer, which altered the profile of the strip. When I finally located the strip against both the surfaces the glue on each underside of the strip did not hold against either surface. An awful product, not fit for purpose, What a waste of money!
