GoodHome cabinet and wardrobe paint is a great solution for renovating your kitchen, bathroom and bedroom cupboards. It is designed to be used on many different surfaces such as wood, melamine, plastic-coated cabinets and doors, metal and glass.
- For use on Cabinet & wardrobes
- Suitable for use on Glass, melamine, metal, plastic & wood surfaces
- Surface Preparation - To paint cupboard doors and drawers remove them from the units and lay on a horizontal surface. Wash the surface with a soda based cleaner and then rinse thoroughly. It should be clean & dry before painting. Ensure any loose particles are removed. Remove any silicone sealant before painting. You can re-seal after applying the paint. When painting wooden doors, remove wax, oil and fill any holes or defects with a wood filler
- Instructions for Use - Stir thoroughly before use. Apply between 10 and 25°С, for best results at least 2 coats are recommended using a brush or roller. Allow 10 days for paint to fully cure. During this time treat your new paintwork with extra care, gently wiping any spills or liquids from the paint immediately.

Great coverage
I brought this as I had awful wooden panelling I needed to cover in my rented home (after permission) i needed a whole lot of paint and the smaller coloured pots were just too small and would of worked out really expensive, this covered in just two coats, it was a huge job and tbh one I dreaded but this made it easy! Can’t comment on durability as I’ve only just completed it. But would use again

Awful durability
This paint scratches so easily it’s terrible. I’ve done 3 full coats waited 10 days between for it to harden and can still scrape it off effortlessly. I’ve done countless patch ups now over 5 weeks and the paint comes out a different shade every time no matter how much you stir. I picked it because the colour was lovely but 100% would never recommend to anyone, I feel for anyone who’s done their kitchen in this paint. I’m going to try and save my fitted wardrobes with some diamond hard varnish as I saw another reviewer had used this. Fingers crossed because otherwise it’s time and money wasted. B&Q really need to sort this I wish I’d read reviews before picking up in store.

Absolutely rubbish
Bought this for the colour which is lovely, goes on well. Looked great until I used it ! It’s not durable at all it scratches so easily . A good quality emulsion is more hard wearing . Having to re-do it all over again I’ll never use b and q own brand again

Very pleased
Great finish, really pleased with this product. The small tin covered the huge cabinet pictured, plus a TV stand and another sideboard even with a little left for any touch ups. Love it

Easy to apply and only 2 coats. Looks great and seems durable up to now. Looks like I’ve had a new kitchen installed

So good follow instructions on tin
Great product follow the tin instructions use the 180 sandpaper then sugar soap and foam roller for best result in my opinion see photo for transformation

good for kitchen renovation
I bought this in store without reading the reviews and have to say I've been very impressed. I roughly sanded the doors (tbh didn't spend that long on it) but didn't use a primer but found the paint applied very evenly to the melamine and has completely transformed a dated kitchen at a very reasonable price. I applied two layers with a mini roller, haven't used anything to seal because I like the matt finish. Kitchen has been in use for a few weeks and I haven't notice any chipping yet.

Better than expected
We were fairly sceptical about using this but with 2 coats on our kitchen cupboards and drawers the whole thing looks great. Do the prep work and the paint goes on really evenly and easily.

Chips easily
Did wardrobe doors but i caught it very slightly with my nail when opening the door and it scratches very easily. Not great considering its supposed to be for furniture/melamine
