Hardy Japanese Anemone Perennial Plant Collection 3 Colours in 9cm Pots

Japanese anemones are wonderful late-summer flowering perennials that erupt into spectacular colour from August until October, instantly refreshing your garden at a time when many of the summer flowers are past their best.

Their beautiful blooms grow to 6 cm across and are carried on long, slender stems high above deeply cut, vine-like foliage. They’re naturally branching and will quickly form large plants with an abundance of flowers. Preferring to grow in partial shade, they are spectacular in woodland style gardens or in shady borders. The flowers are adored by bees and butterflies and the RHS recommends Japanese anemones as ‘Plants for Pollinators’, and they are excellent cut flowers.

Whirlwind – Elegant pure white flowers with a double layer of petals, growing to a height of 1 m (3 ft) and spread of 50 cm (20 in).

Prinz Heinrich – Semi-double, vivid pink flowers, reaching a height of 1.2 m (4 ft) and spready of 75 cm (2½ ft).

Queen Charlotte – Beautiful pale pink semi-double flowers, and a holder of the RHS Award of Garden Merit, growing to a height of 1.5 m (5 ft) and spread of 60 cm (2 ft).
