HG Wall and Floor Grout Protector adheres to the cement joint and thus provides maximum transparent protection against the penetration of (food), oil, fat and moisture. Moreover with HG Wall and Floor Grout Protector the development of black mould is prevented because the joints can no longer absorb liquid.
Grouts are porous and, as a result, they easily absorb grease, dirt and limescale. Spillages such as wine, lemonades or greasy substances will cause marks and patches in the joints in the floor. Grouts between wall-tiles, particularly in damp areas like bathrooms, will become dirty and unattractive as a result of mould and limescale. Equally when such areas are being cleaned, the cleaning water (containing dirt originating from the wall or the floor) will gradually be deposited on the joints between the tiles. The grouts will become dirty and difficult to clean.
The solution for this problem is: HG Wall and Floor Grout Protector. A simple job with extremely satisfactory results. The grouts should be clean and dry prior to treatment with HG Wall and Floor Grout Protector. For this reason, first clean the grouts thoroughly, using HG Grout Cleaner for bathroom grout clean with HG Limescale Remover Concentrate.
Coverage: 250 ml per 30-40 m² of tiled surface area (based on tiles measuring 30 x 30 cm, and a grout width of 0.5 cm).

- Instructions for Use - The grouts should be clean and dry prior to treatment with HG Wall and Floor Grout Protector. For this reason, first clean the grouts thoroughly, using HG Grout Cleaner for bathroom grout clean with HG Limescale Remover Concentrate. After cleaning, rinse all joints well with clean water and allow 24 hours for the area to dry. Sufficient time should be allowed for new grouts to dry and to harden completely. Floor grout in bathrooms, kitchens and, also, intensively used floors (entrances / halls) etc.: Apply HG Wall and Floor Grout Protector using the supplied pipette. Use 1-2 ml of liquid per running metre of the joint (of 0.5cm width). Wall grout in bathrooms and kitchens etc.: Apply the HG Wall and Floor Grout Protector to the joints, using a small brush and allow to dry for 1 hour. Then the treatment should be repeated, so obtaining optimal protection. HG Wall and Floor Grout Protector must penetrate into the joint within 5 minutes. Remove any surplus using a clean cloth. After 36 to 48 hours, the treated surface can be cleaned in the normal manner. For floor joints, the floor can be used after approx. 3 hours. Floors in showers can be used after approximately 8 hours. Attention: Please always follow the instructions. HG Wall and Floor Grout Protector is a transparent fluid that may colour the joints a little lighter or darker , depending on the composition of the joint mortar. When in doubt, we recommend that you first try the product on a location out of sight. Do not use too much HG Wall and Floor Grout Protector as it may colour the joints yellow. Tip: When applying HG Wall and Floor Grout Protector by brush, choose a brush of similar width to the grout joints.
