Wet badly stored

Good job it’s not below zero tonight, needed logs bought from the Yeovil store. Logs are wet and haven’t burnt, my house is now cold.
Beginning to wonder if I should avoid B&Q in future, out of the last 4 visits I have 2 complaints, shape up!
Wasn’t sure on price as in a different quantity to others I have bought, but the first time I have purchased logs that are wet to touch.
Wet wet wet!

I recently purchased 3 bags of kiln dried logs, having bought them before and been very pleased. This time however I was extremely disappointed. The logs in all 3 bags were soaked! Out of the 3 bags I was able to use 5 logs immediately. The rest are going to take months to dry out. Totally useless. I'm very disappointed in B&Q as this is undoubtedly due to where and how the logs are stored. I find this totally unacceptable. Kiln dried? What a joke.
Logs were damp

Logs were damp so did not burn well at all. Probably be ok for next winter

We have been buying these bags of logs since November. Initially they were good quality and good value. However last four bags have been very damp to wet. Presumably due to poor storage. Moisture content between 21% and 30% compared with 8% to 15% previously. So totally unusable in our woodturning stove. Have had to stack them and hope they eventually dry out but think this will take months. Will be looking elsewhere.
Dry, good quality and economical

I bought this from B&Q before Xmas because I couldn't find the usual bag - and it's great! the 20kg back is easy to carry, transport and store and 4 bags lasted me ages. Make sure you pick a bag that's not wet on the outside - the logs inside are great, but if the bag is wet the quality might be different inside). Good stuff B&Q!
