Cerabase has been designed by Palomba Serafini Associati, and because of this, it is not just any ordinary value for money tap range. It is a new ‘eco’ range of taps, free from plastic bags in the packaging, meaning the box and all the contents can be fully recycled quickly and easily, once the tap has been installed. Cerabase also sees the introduction of Bluestart Technology on the single lever basin mixer tap (BD054AA), which offers consumers increased ability to save energy without sacrificing on performance. Due to the Firmaflow cartridge, the user can lift the lever straight up without drawing any hot water, useful for tasks such as brushing your teeth. Unlike other cold start products in the market, Bluestart offers the same amount of movement as a conventional basin mixer tap, meaning the full range of hot and cold is still available.
