- Planting location: Borders, containers and pots
- Soil moisture: Well drained
- Flowering period: January-March, Planting period: August-December
- Select a container suitable for indoor (no holes in the bottom). Fill half the container with compost. Position the bulbs on top of the compost with the pointed end up and fill the container with compost until just below the rim. Place the container in a dark frost-free place, like a garage or shed. Keep compost moist. Place indoors once the shoots are 5 cm high. Keep compost moist at all times When the shoots are 4-5 cm high (after 10-12 wks.) bring them into a light warm spot (18-20°C). Bulbs that were grown indoors are best discarded after one season
