This video really helped me put together the 3 draw cabinet, draws and draw fronts. Especially as the pre-drilled holes are currently incorrect. Loads of very good tips. First time building my own kitchen by myself and I'm a girl... brains not brawn! ;-)

Bought to replace a broken preformed plastic drawer and refurbish a fairly old kitchen drawer unit. Relatively easy to assemble, strong steel interlocking construction and with a thick rigid base board, unlike the hardboard of the original. I had to pack the runners inwards using strips of 3mm thick hardboard but this was due to lower thickness side panels on the 500 mm carcase. Don't be put off by a previous review expressing difficulty screwing on the drawer front, due to lack of screwdriver space. Even though the not too brilliant instructions show this situation, you can actually remove the the clever adjustable mounting brackets by slackening the one cross head screw, after marking the back of the drawer front, to enable you to screw the brackets on to the front with ease. It is then easy to reconnect the brackets back to the drawer sides and even fine adjust the front position using the small cross head screw on the bracket if necessary.

    Good basic replacement drawer

Got this to replace a broken drawer in an old fitted kitchen. The instructions are not terribly helpful, as they assume you'll be fitting the drawer inside your nice new B&Q cabinet, for which they give measurements, which are no use at all in this situation. You have to use some gumption (e.g. I found it best to fit the runner screws in the opposite order to the instructions - front then back then middle) but with careful measurement and a bit of fiddling about you can get a result that's as good as you can hope for. What problems I had were down to the inaccessibility not the drawer. Mine looks perfect and actually works better than the one it replaced. All for 11 quid. Why spend more.

I had this drawer assembled single handed in under 10 mins. Cordless drill for pilot holes and a screwdriver. The trick is - dont try to hold all the sides and back together at once. Hold one side and back against the base - drill and screw two 'holding' screws. Flip it over, attach other side, and then go round and add the rest of the screws. Line your drawer front up, mark the holes with a pen. Lift the box off the drawer front, drill your pilot holes. Box back on top, screws will go in easy.
Not sure about pre-drilled holes for runners as I am using non-standard carcass anyway.

Need 2 pairs of hands to construct a simple draw!

Bought this to fit some existing carcasses so accept that the fit was not guaranteed to be 100%. The main issue is holding all the side together long enough to put in the screws. Essentially you have to hold 3 sides up, because they don't screw into each other but must be aligned before the base is attached. Then you need to flip it over and hold the base in place until you successfully get the screws in.
Question: How many people does it take to put together a Standard Draw Box?
    Answer: 2 minimum.
Which is laughable because I put the rest of the cabinets and doors up myself.
