• Surface Preparation - For a distressed finish; The surface should be thoroughly cleaned, dry and free from contamination such as grease, waxes or polish. Wash with mild detergent solution, rinse thoroughly with clean water and allow to dry. For a solid finish; Smooth surfaces should be lightly abraded with affine waterproof abrasive paper to provide a key. If covering previously painted surface, remove any flaking or blistering areas. A gain rub down well with a fine waterproof abrasive paper. Wear a suitable face mask if dry sanding to avoid the inhalation of dust.
