Nightmare to fit

The laminate looks good and seems to be good quality, time will tell. What really lets it down is the difficulty in fitting. It is almost impossible to get a closed joint between planks. In the end I used a rasp to 'adjust' the click system. Will never buy again.

Looks lovely absolutely awful to fit.

This flooring looks lovely but was an absolute nightmare to fit, it doesn't click together as stated. We took this up & restarted 3 times, it's also chips really easily so not good if you are heavy handed. I love it now it's finished but wouldn't buy it again.

Surprised at reviews! Great product

Very surprised at the aforementioned comments/reviews. We fitted 6mm 8x4 plywood sheets across a 50m2 space so the floor was as close to level as i could get it. This was made up of a hallway, through to an open plan kitchen/dining room/snug and utility room, so there were some tricky cuts and spaces to get in. I originally wanted to tile the space, but in all honesty didn't have the bottle incase we needed to get under the floorboards, and if we wanted to change the flooring in "X" amount of years, and the thought of a 4lb hammer and chisel to get the floor up was not appealing. Anyway we opted for this laminate flooring, concrete tile effect. In all honesty it looks great, feels great, the trickiness of the fitting was in the cuts. It slots in tight but needs a high pitch to click in, and getting under door frames for example was just not possible, as it wouldn't have been for any other type of laminate flooring. Overall, a great product as far as laminate flooring goes, and really looks superb.

Very bad fitting product!

I bought this for my sons bedroom and although now down and looks nice, the fitting of it was a nightmare. It is definitely not worth the money. Very cheap tongue and grove joints and very difficult to fit together. Would not recommend! A Professional Joiner would be exasperated with it! Come on B&Q you can do better than this!!!

Worst flooring!!!

I bought this flooring for my kitchen as it was exactly what I wanted, looks amazing when you see it in store, although there was a few packs with chunks out of the side of other packs we still bought it. Got it home, had a joiner fit the flooring who had already fitted our living room flooring and kitchen and he was exasperated trying to fit the panels together. When trying to join together it kept chipping at sides, although it's expensive the quality is not good at all!! we had to buy an extra two packs due to damage and chipping. my advice stay clear and stick to either real tiles or Lino.
