Having read the reviews on this I almost didn't buy it, but with most of the reviews being related to the fence I opted to chance it and bought a couple of small G clamps to hold the fence in place. The blade was tricky to centralize and took took a few attempts to sit right. Left the flimsy guard off but that was just preference and after clamping the fence in the position I wanted it I run 8 50cm long × 7cm wide strips of 18mm ply through with the blade at 45°, the cuts were clean with no tear out, accurate and the blade/motor had no issues cutting through at a safe and practical speed, it's good for the money.

find a spoon sand it even smoother, it would be better than using this, also to get more precise results get really drunk before cutting

I purchased this a few weeks back and now I am happy with it. However, initially there were parts missing from the box and seeing I used a taxi I had to return to the store in another taxi and then once we checked another box to check all the parts were included return with another taxi
All this inconvenience could eliminated by the shop staff checking the contents before sale.

I bought this in a hurry when my battery powered saw would not go through 30mm white oak and, to its credit, this saw helped me finish that project. However:
- The guide fence is a pain, literally, as screwing it tight enough to stop it moving is murder on the hands.
- And that's after you've gained enough experience using the self adhesive rulers to judge how many MM to add/subtract to get the width of the cut right.
- That's if your rulers are still there, because the second they unstick from the table they get the sticky side covered in sawdust and become pretty silver streamers instead of guides.
- There's no mitre trough for a mitre sled.
- How do you raise and lower the blade?
- Mine has a twisted frame and one screw hole doesn't touch the table
