Bought this and found it completely unsuitable for purpose. Flimsy, inaccurate - the plastic is damaged easily by saw and the vice mechanism is useless. Should have made adjustable width of block otherwise too large and unadulterated rubbish

Dissappointing

Bought to cut 94mm x 15mm MDF skirting corners. Saw chops into the soft plastic, as the slot is too wide and the resulting mitre cut is unusable. Don’t buy ☹️

This item is a complete waste of money. I could have eyeballed and cut a mitre freehand better than I can with this.
The slots do not guide the saw, meaning that it bites into the soft plastic, widening the slots further. If by some miracle your first cut is true, your second most definitely won't be.

Worst tool I've ever used

I bought this specifically to cut some skirting boards. It is by far the worst, most frustrating tool I have ever used. There is absolutely no accuracy in the cuts as the thing is constructed of plastic that flexes, and in any case the slots are too wide and flimsy to hold the saw steady enough for accurate cuts. The clamps are inadequate and ineffective. Every 45 degree cut I made was way off square and had to be filed down with a rasp or redone with my circular saw.

I'm taking this mitre box back to see if I can get a refund.
