I'm at a loss to understand the other reviews. I bought this today from B&Q and have just used it. It did exactly what I hoped it would do. Despite the reviews, I bought it because it had the option for 22.5 angled cuts and there was no other product available that did this.
I'm retired, female, not a DIY professional. Seemed pretty straightforward to me and I'm happy with the results. I've stopped short of 5 stars because there isn't an instruction leaflet but I figured the clamps out and all was fine.
A Major Hassle

I bought this to help with my first DIY project (floor bed frame) and it was such a hassle. The clamps became almost impossible to use as the bars fell out of their holes constantly and the tightening screws were very poorly made. Your saw will shred this thing to pieces within minutes of starting and the gaps are too big to begin with. If I'd known what a mitre saw was before purchase I would have probably gotten that and a vice instead.
Complete waste of money

Bought this and found it completely unsuitable for purpose. Flimsy, inaccurate - the plastic is damaged easily by saw and the vice mechanism is useless. Should have made adjustable width of block otherwise too large and unadulterated rubbish

Bought to cut 94mm x 15mm MDF skirting corners. Saw chops into the soft plastic, as the slot is too wide and the resulting mitre cut is unusable. Don’t buy ☹️
Do not buy this

This item is a complete waste of money. I could have eyeballed and cut a mitre freehand better than I can with this.
The slots do not guide the saw, meaning that it bites into the soft plastic, widening the slots further. If by some miracle your first cut is true, your second most definitely won't be.
