Tiled our floor around 18 months ago and grouted using this product, (we have used it several times before with great results). Ths time, we noticed that every time we washed the floor, there was a sediment on the bottom of the mop bucket and we finally noticed that the grout was actually receding. It had also absorbed dirt much more than any other grey grout that we've used before. I decided that we would need to re-grout the whole floor, so woke up this morning thinking I had a manic couple of days ahead of me, scraping out the existing grout. How wrong I was! I wet the grout and started scraping; it turned to a putty-like substance within minutes and just scraped out as if it had just been done. I could actually sweep up the mess and re-form it in my fingers to the consistency of newly mixed grout. I removed over 16sqm in under 2 hours. Something was wrong here and I won't risk using Mapei again until I know what it is. I bought the grout from B&Q, 3 bags, as we needed to open a third for the last couple of tiles (typical). I have tried to contact Mapei, but they have no 'contact us' button, so thought I'd just warn people instead. I have a video of how easy this was to remove after 18 months and also some of the reformed grout, incase they want to test it. Be aware that if this happens to you, you will have to re-do the lot! There are 2 videos, this one (I can't get the link to work, but look on Youtube for Mapei grout problems) shows shows the receded joints, where the gout has simply been washed away, then after just 12 seconds of adding water, it shows me scraping out wet grout!

Its great adhesive and you have to be quick, would suggest only use when you need to get back on that area quick otherwise use the regular adhesive they make.
