Bought 5 of these in total and not one of them was straight, one was so badly bent I told them at store and could not possibly be used just to be told no more available and nothing could be done appalling and waste of money
Watch for defeats hidden under the product label!!

The product is basically quite good, but as it is solid wood, it is prone to twisting and bending and comes with knots. The resin in the knots causes the wood to go hard and this can break away leaving parts of the wood without the decorative moulded part, i.e. some pieces of the wood were found to be missing.
BUT A VERY STRONG WORD OF WARNING – you must check the product very carefully especially underneath the product labels. For each single length of dado rail I had purchased, the most extreme damage was always carefully positioned underneath the product labels.
I don’t know if it is practical or allowable to remove the product labels for checking the product in-store and then re-attach them, but in retrospect I wish I had done this, as every single one of the major defects were, without exception, always hidden underneath the product label. I suspect I cannot comment further on whether that was by design or by chance, ;-) :-) without breaching posting guidelines, so I will leave it to the reader to make their own determination............
Wood had part missing

I bought this item last week and found one of the pieces had bits missing from the wood and slightly bent. B&Q should check their product before selling them.
