Overall Shower is great
Colleen McG - 1 month ago
I bought this shower a few months ago but just got it installed mid March, the shower is great and powerful however the shower head leaks from areas that should be sealed. I didn't want to take the full shower off to return the full unit as it works fine. Emailed Mira (19.03.2021) and did not get a response yet.
Poor leaking product

It worked fine for about 2 months and then started leaking from the thermostat and shower hose section that meets the t-bar. Pressures could be the issue but the B&Q website where I bought the product from suggests will work on all water pressures

Bought this July 2020 and started leaking in February from the temperature control and where the hose fits in. Mira sent out replacement and the 2nd one is leaking from the hose. Mira are now saying that my water pressure is too high even though I bought this shower based on the product details that states it works on all systems and pressures and says the maximum operating pressure is 11.1 bar. Mira has said this is incorrect information by B&Q and not them!!! I will never buy a Mira product again
Terrible product, awful design.

The pole that carries the (heavy) showerhead has absolutely no grips on it whatsoever. This means when all installed, the weight of the showerhead pulls the pole down. Because there is no grip, and the cap at the end is the same diameter of the pole, the entire thing just slides out - see photo.
Really not impressed, I'm now going to have to uninstall the whole thing and take it back for a refund. Terrible design.
Product Was Great A Year Ago

Had this shower installed coming up on a year ago now in my en-suite. Shower was great at the start could adjust the temperature perfectly. In the last week or so the temperature is kind of hot when at max temperature and freezing when at any others. Adjusted the side that limits how hot it gets as to no scald yourself to max and again the shower isn't very hot anymore. Using the shower in our main bathroom the temperature is exactly what we need where as en-suite is cold when as maximum temperature when we compare the two. This proves to me it is not a hot water issue but more and issue with the shower itself. Also the hose connection has started leaking so wondering if this is causing part of the issue?
