This Bracket falls apart!

My 3rd purchase of this has fallen apart like the other 2.
It's very annoying as the shower assembly, including disconnecting some wires, has to be taken apart to fit a replacement

Bought this 03/04/2010,recently had guest who did not know how to operate the unlock and slide mechanism,so it opened up,attached together but because 10 years old was easier to replace with new one.
Does the job ,yes sticks out but after finishing move to one side or other no problem.
Not fit for purpose!

This is the 3rd Mira Holder we've purchased since having the shower fitted and they each last between a year and eighteen months and its not as though many people use it - two people! The whole thing splits in half each time.
We are now risking buying another make and hope that this one is more serviceable.
Do not buy if you're short on space

We have a small shower. This is completely unsuitable for people with smallish showers. The bracket sticks so far out that when attaching the shower head that you used to use the water will only spray the door and not yourself. Problem. You almost need an overhead style shower head for this bracket.
It does exactly what it is supposed to do

Easy to fit: good to use. I am useless at DIY but had it fitted within an hour of purchase- including time to drive home and brew a cuppa!
