Shame we couldn’t rate this zero! Flimsy! Following instructions closely the s brackets don’t allow lid to close! Have taken apart and started again using our common sense! What ever is the point in the hole at top of handle only to let water in? Lid still doesn’t line up to shut properly! Living 20 miles away it’s not a quick journey for return to be thrown at you! B & q you’ve really let yourselves down with this. If only I’d read reviews!

Should be half price

On assembly the lid endcaps are so tight to fit both sides cracked and had to glue.
The small rectangle piece on the lid leaked on the first day of rain. Required sealing with dow. No idea why its there.

Decent box ,sturdy enough to sit on but has the above faults. Would not buy again.

good for the price

I bought this product without looking at reviews ,although my wife messaged me reviews without my knowledge but did not see until I already purchased item. Reading through the reviews was a bit wary of putting it together, but thought I would give the benefit of the doubt. Got home and put box together within about 10 minutes ( with kids climbing in and out at the same time ) ,No problem what so ever, instructions were fine easy to follow and box lines up straight no issues! I have no idea what all the bad reviews are about? must not have a clue how to look at pictures or use a screwdriver?? For the money it's not bad really abit flimsy but you get what you pay for. Going inside the shed so don't care about being waterproof either.

Worst Ever DIY Product

I should have read the reviews befor purchasing this product yesterday as it is without doubt the worst purchase I have ever made. The instruction are badly written and incorrect as if you follow them you end up with a lid that is impossible to close. The materials used are flimsy to say the least and there is a high chance that you will snap some of the plastic during assembley as the parts do not align up. After 4 hours trying to figure out how to put this together we have a garden box which has snapped on one side and although the lid now closes the padlock holes are impossible to use. Come on B & Q dump this trashy unusable item.

Do not buy

I wouldn't normally post a review, but after a few hours of puzzling over the instructions and putting the box together, I felt that I had to.
The build quality when complete is terrible, it wobbles and the structure does not sit square. As a result, the tiny holes for the padlock do not line up (though quite frankly why you would padlock it, as the flimsy design could be snapped to get what's inside).
By following the instructions, two S shaped brackets are fitted at the rear of the box, sticking out proud of the top of the box, the purpose of which are unknown other than to prevent the actual lid from closing?
There are plenty of fiddly plastic pieces to insert, which will sap your will to continue.
Once put together, I was afraid to then take apart to return for fear of the pieces snapping.
Stay clear and save yourself the hassle.
