I bought these a month ago and the workman that used them said that they were the best he has used to go into plaster board walls.

I've used these for a number of items - some heavy - in our new home with plasterboard walls. I've had no problem with them whatsoever. However didn't have so much luck with the nylon version.

Waste of time and money

Used these to put a curtain rail with two brackets on the wall, rail is very light and curtains not very heavy either. The packet said medium duty and specifically mentions they can be used for curtain rails. They felt firm at first, but after just over a fortnight they had worked loose and were coming out of the wall. I now have four holes in the wall, no curtain pole and need to find another way to solve the problem.

Never again..

I've tried these before with no success! Maybe its the modern plasterboard but its always ended up leaving a huge hole where the fixing should be!

Ended up butchering rawlplugs to get it resolved

Don't bother with these

Rubbish, absolute waste of time. Screw into wall attach fixing and screw then causes whole thing to rotate and chew wall. Tried several all same result.
