Purchased this to 'protect' some gloss and wish I hadn't. The gloss beforehand was virtually perfect, nice smooth finish and a nice shine. This just trashed two days of work. Followed all the instructions, stirred well, sanded the gloss and started. The stuff's like milk, and reminded me of watered down PVA. And it dries back far too quickly for a top coat - meaning marks are very visible unless you can work at supersonic speeds. The finish itself is the worst though - I gave it 3 coats, just to give it the benefit of the doubt. And 'gloss' is not a description I'd give to this product. If you feel generous, maybe a dull satin finish would be the best description. I'd call it matt compared to gloss. Save yourself the expense of buying this, and just buy a good gloss. The preparation's more or less the same, so no time saving with this appalling product.
