When applied this came out a murky greeny yellowy brown. Very unpleasant colour and wouldn't ever describe it as dark oak. B&Q very helpful though in exchanging for walnut which was much truer to the colour description.

    The perfect job

Having opened the tin, I was a little worried about the colour of the liquid but, once it slid onto the newly prepared floorboards it was perfect. Also concerned about getting an even colour, I found that it went on smoothly and very evenly, having followed the instrucitons that is, I find that always a good idea! So far ( 3 weeks) the surface has been unmarked although I did drop a piece of granate fireplace on the floor (oops) and it dug in but, topping up the damaged spot, no-one would ever know. Seems to be set for the long haul.
Very pleased with the finish and colour and would use the same range again with no hesitation at all.

Does what it says on the tin

I did all the prep required and put 3 coats of varnish on my floor; it looks really good but it is very easily chipped and even moving a dining chair leaves marks. There are no pets or children in the house so 'diamond hard' is not what you get even with light use. Ronseal take no responsibility and say either my prep was not good or the wood underneath is to blame

    Can't give 5 stars

Stripped and sanded our 1930s floors, I'm a very particular person I know what I want so what I had in my mind was what it had 2 be!
Edged with paint brush and used a roller u have 2 work quick.Have used ronseal diamond hard white on the children's bedrooms so knew what I was paying for worth paying extra.Using this color in 3 rooms and hallway if your going 2 do it do it properly prep is key!!
