Wouldn't take on brand new shed

Like water in the tin (charcoal grey), after 3 coats it was barely noticeable it had been applied.
Used Spear and Jackson shed paint on the rest of the shed for a comparison and it was perfect after 2 coats (only £9 too)
Waste of money

Done 2 coats already and can still see the wood it will probably need 4 coats? How do they get away with selling this as 1 coat? Will use Cuprinol in future.
