Bought the three of the 9L pots to do my fence and On the first coat it does appear orange. What I guess some people do is test a little or do one coat. Once the second coat is on and dried it becomes brown and darker

Orange from the get go

I'm afraid that on this occasion "It DOESN'T do what it says on the tin". Thankfully I did a small test patch first in a corner of my garden, as my suspicions were raised as soon as I opened the first tin. It is definitely very orange, and nothing like the picture on the tin. Taking all 36 litres of it back and changing to Cuprinol Duckback

This is a nice shade for fencing

Had to write a review as I don't think this stuff deserves a 1 star rating.... Yes on the first few days it looks really orange but once it dries and has a few weeks in the sun its actually a really nice shade. I've painted my fences all the way around the garden in this colour and I love it... Not too light, not too dark. the attached pic is 1 year on btw... So its lasted well too....Depends what shade your after really but I would recommend it.

I bought this product to do shed/fences to match medium oak deck stain. However, it is an orange colour and nothing like the medium oak deck stain which is a rich, darker brown. Having started with this on my fence/ shed I will now have to redo them. Very annoying and Ronseal needs to ensure consistency in their colours for outside wood across their range for decking and sheds/fences. Avoid unless you are looking for a very strong red/orange colour.

The colour drys bright orange

I applied this paint with the sprayer and brush as instructed. The paint colour, which is advertised as "Medium Oak," has dried bright orange and the rain accentuates this colour. I'm really disappointed - I'll need to redo the whole thing. Please take note if you're not a fan of orange decking and/or fence panels.....
