As orange as a bad fake tan

A big lovely piece of elm was a little warped so my joiner had me stand on it while he fired six nails into the top. I used this filler to cover the holes but the colour of the filler is so lurid that I toned it down with oak scratch remover. Fairly successful result (only I know where the holes were now) but I suggest that Ronseal reduce the vibrance of the colouring.
On a positive note, it filled the holes nicely!
Not even close to what its says on the tin

Colour match is impossibly poor. Requesting my money back. Annoyed to have wasted my time and effort. Really no excuse for releasing a poor quality product like this to the market.
Poor color finish

I brought this a month ago and was unhappy with the finished color as it was darker than what was advertised on the packaging.

Cannot judge the colour and the description is not accurate, and because the lids are sealed you are buying a product blind.
The lid should be clear so that you can judge the best colour to suit the wood you are filling.
Not as good as the old Brummer and the consistence is a bit sloppy to apply
Colour is nothing like as described!

On the 325g tube I bought it is stated that it is for "antique pine" and "medium oak". Antique pine is exactly what my Edwardian door is made out of, but this filler is bright orange! It is about as far from antique pine as luminous green would be. It's almost traffic-light amber.. I'll be taking this back tomorrow and demanding a refund on the basis that it's not fit for purpose.
