Like it alot

Wanted to try a different varnish. Needs to be stirred before use. Good coverage though

Very easy to apply great finish

This paint is easy to apply and reasonably priced.

Won’t give even cover

Bought this in the black and worked well, but the clotted cream is a disaster, just gives a patchy finish, on second coat and thinking I will need a third, did prep before too.

More of a white rather than cream

Colour is more white rather than cream, the pictures of these tins are very misleading. However I was very happy with the finish, all be it a little whiter than I would have liked.

Really hard to overlap brush strokes

Very disappointed with the finish of this paint, brushed a little on, then brushed into what I had literally applied just seconds before; and it doesn't blend at all. It just pulls the paint leaving clumps and looks awful, even when dry. Ruined my furniture using this product. (I shook & stirred this paint well before use)

nice finish but does not last

took 3 coats on my table and chairs i also used wax . so disappointed as wiped table and paint came off i bought 2 tims waste of money.

This is my favourite neutral colour for furniture

I am just about to buy another tin of Rustoleum matt 'antique white' because, even though I have tried various other neutral and cream shades for painting furniture and picture frames, I realise this is the one I like best as I keep returning to it. I have used it for table legs, chairs, a chest of drawers, a bookcase and I am just about to use it on my pine desk. It is a good shade too for mixing with any other colour, or for two-tone effects and for distressing. Actually if you then rub in some clear wax, this deepens the colour slightly to an even nicer shade.

Disappointed

Bought this paint to renovate my kitchen cupboards. Unfortunately, the shade label bears no resemblance to the paint colour and instead of a creamy-white I have a flat white paint. Could have bought that almost anywhere at half the cost.

It's Good

Nothing around to compare it with and hence have bought a 2nd tin. However, I think it's a little too expensive and even more so when it needs waxing after application. The finished items are fine and I would recommend it as suitable but pricey.

Great Product

I bought this paint to renovate a tired original high level fireplace in my home. I am delighted with the end result. The finish is beautiful and has transformed an old shabby fireplace into a gorgeous focal point.
