Purchased this from B&Q on 04//04/2018, used it once on 10/04/2018 and ended up resorting to using my old cheap £15 Jigsaw as this unit is utter rubbish at cutting in a straight line, and also jumps out of its blade guide continuously, Returned unit 11/04/2018 in exchange for a Stanley Fatmax. A little more expensive but is like night and day in comparison.
The Stanley cuts smoothly and straight, It may not look as fancy but then a Jigsaw is not an ornament, Its the cut you want clean when all is said and done, and the Stanley delivers where the Ryobi fails.

I have owned this jigsaw for around 6 months now and everything still works as it should. It has seen a fair bit of use also. I'm not a builder but I am an experienced diyer.

Pro's
It's very reasonably priced for the features you are getting. It's solidly built, mainly plastic but all of the moving parts are well engineered.
I haven't seen many other jigsaws at this price point that have more to offer.
IT DOES CUT STRAIGHT. People complaining that it cannot cut a straight line should slow down and use the correct technique.

Con's
You may as well throw the blade it comes with away as it is rubbish.
Dust collection isn't great and makes the tool unergonomic to use.
Although solidly built this jigsaw isn't designed to last the test of time on a building site. Mine is still working but lives in a draw in my garage and not in the back of a van.

At around the £50 mark it is a winner.

Great bit of kit

Bought this for the wife as an anniversary present. She loves it! She looks for things to cut armed with her new toy. I've given it a 5 star rating throughout. If she can use it-anyone can. Would highly recommend it.

I bought this item yesterday (30/10/17) and returned it today (31/10/17) I am a joiner by trade with many years experience (so I have a good idea on what I'm doing)but this has to be the worst purchase of the year so far.... No matter what I did the blooming thing would not cut in a straight line all it wanted to do was go left all the time. Rather disappointed to say the least.
