I bought this sander as I was making a counter top for my kitchen. When glueing the planks there was a bit of stepping which needed to be sanded flat. This belt sander flew through the wood. The collection filter does a great job but connecting to a vacuum is best. Highly recommend this sander.

Used this to sand a fairly large hallway and porch with Parquet flooring.. sanded the floor three times on full speed. No issues with felt breaking or anything negative to report. Happy with the purchase.
Very Poor for the price

I didn't take long for me to think that mine was defective. But after reading more about it, it was not defective it is just extremely poorly designed. it has an "auto adjusting" feature which basically doesn't work and chews up the belt without fail.
I also found the manual adjusting mechanism to be so crude looking I also thought it to be broken. It is a screw angled at 45 degrees which touches the belt wheel. This ends up locking up the wheel or sticking out and chewing up the belt as well.
I purposely spent more money for this model because I didn't want to deal with a bad product. I knew I should have just got the Erbauer one.
Shoddy auto tracking!
Anonymous - 6 months ago
Skill, I am so disappointed. The auto track device on this product renders it absolutely unfit for the market. How did this product ever make out of your product testing department? What are you playing at? Surely you must know that sanding belts rise up and over your auto tracking device and tares them apart. No matter how carefully adjusted the device is, there are pieces of belt flying off almost as soon as you start the machine up.
