telescopic pole
I bought this pole to use with a window washer to clean my upstairs windows, I used it today for the first time and it works a treat, so that's a new use for your telescopic pole.

Saved me hiring a ladder!
Started painting the outside of my house and was at the point where I needed a taller ladder. I wasn't keen to work high up so bought this extendable pole and it's great! Put a roller on the end and it done the job! Managed to paint the top from the safety of the ground. A great buy!

BETTER THAN LADDERS!
Purchased the pole the other day for painting the rendering at the front of my daughters cottage. Only used a ladder to cut in the paint under the guttering and at each side, the rest was done entirely from ground level and safety! I did use a single light weight pole for the very low areas as it was easier to handle. However once you have got used to loading the roller and then extending it its marvellous. I should have bought one years ago.

Non working gripper
I was very impressed with this amazing bit of kit which enables me to reach up the high attic, but from the start the top gripper did not work. I find this is not a big deal as the roller works, jut have to keep on pulling he pole out a gain every once in the while. However, since the gripper should grip instead of just turning forever either direction, I am not giving full stars.

Good reach, poor quality
I brought the pole 1 week ago and was initially very pleased with it. It allowed me to reach right to the top of my house without the need to climb a ladder. However on only it's second use the top locking mechanism ceased meaning I can now only adjust the lower of the telescoping poles. The bottom adjuster screw lock is a different design to the top adjuster and works well. The top appears to self tighten during use, possibly due to the top section twisting as the roller contact the wall.

Quality & value
As a professional decorator I was very happy with this product. I use poles all the time but the longest I had just wouldn't do, I found this and thought it was a good price,. To my surprise it performed really well,. I was using it at about 3.5m,. With a 12" double arm roller,. Faultless! Go get 1!!!

Why pay a pro?
I am not so good with heights and needed a small area of rendering on my house painted. Had a choice of a 3m pole in b&q which was a really sturdy build, or this one which is longer and appears a little flimsy. I made the right choice in choosing this one. It is more than strong enough and has purpose made rollers you can buy to screw on to the end. You will pay a little more for the attachments and twice as much for masonery roller but you will understand why it costs more within seconds of using them. Money well spent and was so easy I ended up painting the back of the house in a few hours and not just touching up a small area I planned on.

Good experience
A very useful 'tool' with several purposes. A good grip obtainable for extension where necessary. Used for cleaning, undercoating and topcoating bargeboards.
