Antique White disaster

Hopeless result. After a day's painting the hall I have to start again. Result is patchy and unsmooth. It was like painting tippex on a wall.Plastic feel to it. Don't go near it. Waste of precious time and money. Hopefully B and Q will do the right thing despite empty tins.

Wish I'd gone straight for dulux

Well where do I start.... don't buy this paint. It is not one coat even over magnolia. It is not scrubbable the paint comes off. It is not wipeable grease marks and tea marks do not come off. You can not cut in then roller as it pulls the paint off the cutting in. It takes forever to paint due to making sure paint is totally dry before doing any more painting. I was painting a kitchen and was totally infuriated using this paint. It doesn't do what it says it does on the tub at all. Total rubbish paint.

Not one coat, not even two not pet/child friendly

I got myself 3 pots of this paint to create a stunning living/dining feature wall. (This was after a B&Q velspar lie) The matt went on patchy, I think I have done 3 coats now, maybe 4 and I would certainly say it's more dark grey than black. Beautiful colour but not if that's not what you are going for. It looks flat, it marks literally with a finger swipe and when you wipe it off (the paint stays) however the water then becomes "the mark". I would say it is NOT suitable in a home with children or animals that's for sure. I am taking my third tub back today, to swap it for the silk version, I think it's a shame B&Q stopped selling dulux. You can mostly rely on them to know what's coming out of the tub will be the colour you wanted at the very least.

Do not buy!!

I never write reviews but I was so disappointed with this paint I thought I might try help someone else avoid a mistake. How they have the audacity to call this 'ONE COAT' is beyond me. It goes on like glue and if you have you go over a patch it drags the paint off. Even after a second coat it's patchy. Have completely wasted my money and time.

Premium ONE COAT

Good covering quality, only needed one coat, would buy again.

Very MATT!

When finished the matt looked VERY matt as it would in black. Not pitch black but a very deep deep grey. It marked too easily, too chalky and not very wipeable although it looked good. As I bought 2 matt paints, I went back and exchanged the one matt for the same paint in silk to paint over the top. Although I would have preferred a satin (less sheen), I was still impressed at the silk which is very black and very wipeable!

Avoid

If you enjoy painting with glue, this is the paint for you. Impossible to get a smooth finish.

Poor Quality Paint

I brought the One Coat Premium Paint, it advertises Any Room, Any Surface One Coat. 3 Coats later and I am still touching up. I wish I had read the reviews before purchasing this over priced rubbish product.
