Bristles fell out of the first one we got...

However, the replacement has been ok, so far. Looks ok and got us started, but don't think it will stand the test of time.

I bought this a few years ago and never had the problems other reviewers seem to have had. No bristles falling out, tongs can be used for coal and wood. Very happy!
Don't waste your money!

This companion set is of very poor quality and only good for decoration. The tongs are too weak to hold anything - probably designed by Uri Geller as they bend. The handles on all tools keep coming lose and the stand wobbles.
looks nice but not practical

This came with other products I had delivered. The packaging was in perfect condition but the claws in th tongs had fallen off. Only held on with glue and 2 tiny.
Bristles falling out of brush.
Not pewter colour but bright silver finish.
Was very disappointed.
Big chunks of bristle dropped out of the brush

This looks a really nice product and seems to be good quality but mine lost three big clumps of the bristles out of the brush the first time I used it.
To be fair to B&Q I haven't taken it back to swap (maybe I just got a duff one) as they don't stock it in any of my local stores. I had to make a special journey to a store several miles away when I originally purchsed it. It's still losing hairs when I use it just not in big clumps anymore. If you buy this product take the brush out of the box first and check the brush hairs are secure as other than that its looks great next to my wood burner.
