Developed specifically for situations where an existing fire door is been upgraded to comply with modern fire regulations, it has a 30-minute fire rating and has been tested to British Standard 476-22:1987. This works like any ordinary fire and smoke seal, expanding in intense heat to block the small gap between the door and frame, helping to contain fire and smoke in the room it originates to prevent it spreading, reducing risk to lives and limiting damage.

Quick and easy to install, the surface mounted fire and smoke seal has a self-adhesive backing which enables it to stick around the inside of the door frame.

- This insulation sealing and intumescent strip with a brush is tested for 30 minutes BS 476 Part 22. It has a rapid high-pressure expansion to prevent any fire from spreading. The dimension of door strip is 5.2 m length x 25 mm width x 1.8 mm thickness and the weight is 342 Grams.
