Tarmac Horticultural grit

Not great. Arrived split open open so obviously hard to move it into the house then to the back garden. Was all wet too.

Good grit and great value for money. Used in some potted plants. Really helped with drainage.

Not really grit. I’d describe this as washed gravel. If you’re looking for horticultural grit for potting cacti etc then I would look elsewhere.

Good, clean grit for adding to compost to improve drainage etc. One bag lasts well. It is very heavy though, so be careful if lifting in and out of a car.

Over the years I've tried several brands of garden grit but I can safely say that this is the grittiest grit of them all. All grit and nothing else. What more could you want from a bag fo grit? NB: Not suitable for the bottom of budgie cages
