Easy and simple

Put this track up in under 10 minutes, everything locked into place no problems, does feel a little basic but what do you expect its curtain track! If I can put it up tou certainly can!
Avoid buying this product

This is the worst curtain rail I have ever purchased. The screws were made of a soft metal. As soon as you try to tighten them the screwdriver just mashed the head needing me to remove them with a pair of pliars. The hooks that were provided with the track were too big, therefore when we open and close the curtains, the hooks jump off the track
Terrible new design!
Scared to hang a curtain - 3 years ago
Replacing an old curtain rail after doing up the bedroom. So it's a 3 sided angled bay window (which it's definitely for as it's described in the instructions) we found it really fiddly and it needed several hands to hold the pieces in place as it was clipped in. The old style curtain rails were much easier to use. The small plastic bits that are used to lock the rail into place are cheaply made and twisted very easily on the corners. It doesn't help the we were TWICE, sold the wrong joining piece (firstly the old style fitting and secondly the heavyweight joins!). The Plus side is its a nice smooth finish and it does look nice when it's up.
Improved fitting brackets

There is a heavyweight version of this in store. The fixing brackets have been improved in strength and don't project as they do in this photo. The small fixing clips also seem stronger though the clips don't look different. Unfortunately the colour has changed from white to a slightly greyish appearance, but this will be OK unless like me you were replacing one of a pair.
Not what I wanted
Not worth it - 3 years ago
I needed to replace a very old curtain rail urgently. Could not believe the lack of choice available. Not what I wanted available. No end stops. No way of having
an overlap. It was meant to be able to go around a curve but we had great difficulty getting it to do so and nothing like as good as the old one. Beause of urgency we had to make do.
