As many other people’s reviews this paint has cracked in numerous places . Going to have to sand down and start again . Supposedly the ‘valspar expert’ said this is great paint which was obviously a lie . Stay away and get dulux diamond paint
Fantastic paint, but has one downside.

Professional painter and decorator 17 years experience;
This paint obliterates really well and has a fantastic flat finish, doesn't flash either. However it does have one downside;
Should not be applied too thickly, nor put straight onto bare filler, or bare plaster. It just cracks, these areas need priming first, contract or watered down vinyl matt will do. When applied well the result is
Rubbish will be going to make a claim

Bought this paint to do ceilings in several rooms as was impressed by v500 colour range we put on walls. Several spots of peeling cracking. Have to rub down, repair and start all over.

I bought this product two weeks ago to renovate a dining room. It has disappointing and unexpected results. The wall surfaces were prepped with: polyfilla, sanded, washed down with sugar soap and the paint duly stirred ready for painting using a roller and brush. I have reported the poor results to Valspar today. During painting in sections it is difficult to blend the next line of paint as the roller will pick-up the paint from the wet section, so no chance to blend and paint methodically. The result after 2 hours of drying is a wall surface with paint that is crackled with an egg-shell texture and peeling off. I hope to have a refund without too much interrogation as I have renovated several houses using other brands of white matt emulsion British Paints etc. with good results.
