It's alright, I guess

Put this under some slate gravel last year - worked fine for a while but weeds have started poking through now. I'd recommend using cardboard over this personally - cheaper, more effective, and probably better for the environment. Or buy the more expensive one, it's worth it.
Not permeable

The quality of the fabric seems fairly decent, however be warned, despite the product description and the packaging stating it is, this fabric is not permeable and does not let any water through. The photos attach show the water still standing on the surface of the fabric after 16 hours, and I tried this test on both sides. Thankfully my dog urinated on the fabric before I had chance to lay the stones on top, otherwise I wouldn't have noticed and ended up with a very soggy garden.
Disappointing that B&Q and the manufacturer are misleading customers this way.
