This looks identical to a similarly priced weed suppressing membrane I've used previously on an allotment, but the B&Q version is made from far inferior material. The product is described as ‘UV protected’: it disintegrated after a couple of months in the open air, without any traffic, friction or pressure. It just ‘dissolved’ after exposure to sunlight. Unsuitable for outdoor use. Zero use in a garden. No good for covering ground beyond a few weeks. Disappointed I wasted my money. Perhaps B&Q should take this up with the manufacturer. Sorry if I sound cross but that's because I am :-)

I bought two different geo textiles, one heavy duty (not from this shop) and this one. When I got home I cut a small square from each and poured some water on the surface to check the permeability. The heavy duty textile drained through in a minute or two, this one not at all even after 10 mins. Given I cut a square I cannot return it :(
