The Vitrex 101500 Tile Cutter is designed to make cutting ceramic, porcelain, quarry tile, terracotta and vitrified tile easy. With a contoured handle with cushioned grips, you can use this manual cutter comfortably for longer, achieving the best quality results possible.

- Suitable for Ceramic, porcelain, quarry tile, terracotta & vitrified tile
- Instructions for Use - Firmly score along a straight edge until the score line is visible*, this may have to be repeated for best results grip tile, positioning jaws centrally over the score line. To cut tile, squeeze handles firmly together. Use a tile file to neaten the cut. *For best results, make sure the straight edge is against the cutting disc and not under the mount as to not effect scoring. The cutting disc can be moved to the other side of the mount using a 7mm spanner and crosshead screwdriver if required.

Amazing tile cutter
I am very surprised at the reviews for this tile cutter. Bought one and I couldn't fault it in any way. Cut and snaps the tile spot on. Highly recommend if you know what you doing.

Awful. Should not be sold.
Bought this to cut a few small tiles, it smashed all of them, no hope of getting a remotely clean cut. Complete waste of money and materials. B&Q shouldn't even sell this it is that bad. Taking it back to get a refund. Should have 0 stars out of 5.

Not easy to use
It slips and doesn’t help in cutting the tile. I would not buy again

Poor performance
It worked poorly at cutting porceline stoneware. Would not reccomend.

disapointing
Purchased as only had 6 tiles to cut in half, This thing does not do a great job at scribing and does even less of a job snapping along scribe. It looks and feels solid but does poor job, due to small wobbly cutting disc and small cutting wings, lost the first tile as it snapped at an angle. Took it back for a refund

Total rubbish
I read the poor reviews but thought it looks OK, but it stopped there!! The cutting wheel is wobbly and can not be tightened up, even with a straight edge it wanders. This is a complete rubbish tool don’t waste your money it does not cut tiles it cracks them! See photo, I is one run with the wheel and the other is several runs of the wheel against a straight edge

Bought it today 21/06/2021 it certainly doesn’t do what it says on the tin, I should have read reviews like this one, not one saying anything good about the product so why is it still being sold . Scored the tile a few times but it still didn’t cut in it split eveyw

Dont bother
Bought this to cut a handful of tiles, needed nothing special, a few halves, and, its useless... The major problem is the cutting wheel is too small to use alongside a guide, I tried to use it along the measuring part of a set square, and you know how thin they are... And the screw for the wheel was just getting in the way. Spend a few more quid and get a one that slides backwards and forwards, even if your cutting one tile!
