I bought a blue triangle coving template and used a knife as many online videos say to, save yourself time and don't bother. The corners don't meet anywhere nearly as perfectly as they do with this mitre block. Buy this, and a tennon saw, amazing results and really easy to use. Scribble 'wall' and 'ceiling' on each edge of the block once you've figured out which way up to use it.

Great mitre block

I was really struggling to cut the angles correctly with a normal mitre block so I thought I would give this a go, cuts perfect mitres every time. Very pleased

Worth every penny

I bought this today to do the coving in my kitchen. I was wasting coveing cutting wrong angles for inner and outer corners with a 240v mitre saw, this made the job soo much easier. It doubles as a handy stand for measuring your work too. I used a fine tooth wood saw but a tennon saw would have been better.

Simple to use

Really easy to use if you use a tenon saw, cuts perfect mitres on coving.

Don't bother, the cutting slots are not wide enough and one i had was warped.

You simply end up cutting the poor quality wood, which in turn messes up the cuts, and with expensive coving it isn't acceptable!!!!!!!
