• WRX Trade Primer Water-based Water-based, acrylic emulsion-based, silicone interior primer. It can be applied on any interior structural elements which are prepared for priming.
• PREPARATION For best results, make sure surfaces to be painted are sound, clean and dry. Remove any loose or flaking material. Repair damaged areas. Glossy surfaces should be sanded down to provide a key. Wear a suitable mask if dry sanding. Avoid the inhalation of dust Special precautions should be taken during surface preparation of pre-1960s paint surfaces as they may contain harmful lead.
• SPECIFICATIONS It penetrates the surfaces deeply and creates solid surfaces onto which the paint can hold on. It reduces topcoat paint consumption by saturating the raw surfaces as it is reinforced. It does not prevent the wall from breathing, thanks to the porous composition. It has a high vapour permeability. It penetrates and reinforces the surface. It prevents premature drying. It eliminates colour ripples which are likely to occur in topcoat paint on the surfaces with a different absorbing capacity. It has a high covering power, thus reduces the paint consumption and labour in colour conversion for previously painted surfaces. Particularly, it prevents different textures formed on repaired surfaces, from being seen on the topcoat paint. It eliminates colour ripples caused by any difference in the texture. It allows the new water-based paint to adhere to the old solvent-based paint layer.
• APPLICATION Do not apply in damp or humid conditions or room temperatures below 10°C. Stir well before use. Ready to use. It can be thinned with maximum of 5% water, if required. Suitable for application by brush or roller. For best results, load the brush generously. The primer should be applied in single coat by following the shade.
• COVERAGE WRX Primer will cover approximately 23-35 square metres per litre depending on the surface.
• DRYING TIME Touch dry in an hour under normal conditions. Allow 6 hours between coats. Through dry is 24 hours.
• AFTER PAINTING Remove as much paint as possible from brushes and rollers, before cleaning with warm soapy water. Do not empty paint into drains or watercourses. Some local authorities have special facilities for the disposal of waste paint. Replace lid firmly.
• STORAGE Store and move in dry conditions in a secure upright position. Protect from frost and extreme temperatures. Health & Safety Information Keep out of reach of children. Do not get in eyes, on skin, or on clothing. Do not eat, drink or smoke when using this product. Avoid release to the environment. Inhalation: Remove to fresh air. In case of persistent complaints obtain medical attention. Ingestion: Do not induce vomiting. Immediately obtain medical attention. Skin contact: Remove contaminated clothing. Clean the skin with water, soap and special cleaning cream. Eye contact: Flush eye with copious quantities of water. If irritation occurs, obtain medical attention. VOC EU limit value for this product (cat.A/d) : 130 g/l (2010). This products contains max 30 g/l VOC. VOCs. (Volatile Organic Compounds) contribute to atmospheric pollution.
