• WRX Trade Water-based Ceiling Paint. A top quality water-based, pure acrylic emulsion with an full matt finish. Suitable for use on ceiling surfaces. It can be applied as first and last layer to every surface including bathroom and kitchen. It is an odorless, non-yellowing paint. The breathing feature allows the ceilings to breathe. Special formulation to live up challenges of everyday life in living spaces. Marks and stains can easily be swiped away. Version simplicity and extra maturity ensure ease of application and do not shows surface defects.
• PREPARATION For best results, make sure surfaces to be painted are sound, clean and dry. Remove any loose or flaking material. Repair damaged areas. Glossy surfaces should be sanded down to provide a key. Wear a suitable mask if dry sanding. Avoid the inhalation of dust. Prime new, bare and absorbent surfaces with the appropriate WRX Trade Primer. Special precautions should be taken during surface preparation of pre-1960s paint surfaces as they may contain harmful lead.
• PRIMING (LINING) To ensure adhesion of free micronised powders on surface finished surfaces and to increase adherence, plaster surfaces primer, plaster and paste on the most absorbent surfaces. If it is desired to change color on old painted solid surfaces, one coat of covering primers should be applied. It is necessary to wait at least 6 hours for drying the primer before going through final coat application.
• APPLICATION Do not apply in damp or humid conditions or room temperatures below 10°C. Stir well before use. Thin 15% with clean water. Suitable for application by brush or roller. For best results, load the brush generously. Apply paint evenly and avoid overspreading. 2 coats are recommended. Extra coats may be required if the colour change is strong.
• COVERAGE WRX Ceiling Paint will cover approximately 11-15 square metres per litre depending on the surface.
• DRYING TIME Touch dry in an hour under normal conditions. Allow 6 hours between coats. Through dry is 24 hours.
• AFTER PAINTING Remove as much paint as possible from brushes and rollers, before cleaning with warm soapy water. Do not empty paint into drains or watercourses. Some local authorities have special facilities for the disposal of waste paint. Replace lid firmly.
• STORAGE Store and move in dry conditions in a secure upright position. Protect from frost and extreme temperatures.
