For us to consider your application, you’ll need to;

  • Be 18 years +
  • A UK resident for at least 12 months
  • Employed (minimum 16 hours), retired or receiving disability benefit
  • Have a bank account so that we can arrange a direct debit for monthly repayments

You can apply for credit at B&Q with one of our colleagues in store. They will be able to explain the credit options we offer and will take information from you in order to complete a credit application. You will be advised there and then whether your application has been successful.

Can I cancel if I change my mind before the first repayment?

You will have the right to withdraw from the agreement without giving any reason, for a period of 14 days. The 14-day period will begin on the day after the agreement is signed.

Will you check my credit file?

Yes. In order to process your application, credit and identity checks will be performed on you with one or more credit reference agencies.

How can I make a complaint about my credit agreement with B&Q or the goods I have purchased with it?
