What’s in the local area?

Once a small town, Swindon grew into a major hub during the nineteenth century thanks to the Great Western Railway. It is now the largest town in Wiltshire, with live music venues, theatres, museums and both chain and designer shops. The town centre itself has two large shopping complexes and there are several retail parks further out too. In addition, Swindon boasts many parks and gardens, plus a large leisure centre with an international-sized ice rink.

How do you find the store?

By car

From the M4, take Junction 16 towards Swindon, following the A3102/ Great Western Way. Continue straight on at Mannington Roundabout, where the road becomes the B4006. After around 1 mile, turn left onto Barnfield Road, then follow it round to the car park on the right.

By train

The nearest train station is located in Swindon town centre, roughly one mile away. From there, you can either walk 25 minutes to B&Q Swindon or catch the no.22 bus. It stops at Rail Station Stop R and takes 13 minutes to reach Barnfield Road, a 5 minute walk away.

By bus

As mentioned above, the no.22 bus serves the retail park where B&Q is located. You can catch it from the town centre bus station or one of several stops on Station Road. The bus also stops at the Designer Outlet and supermarkets en-route if you want to extend your trip.
