Garage door mechanisms are integral to the opening of garage doors, whether electronic, analogue or manual. There are a range of different garage door opening mechanisms available for use, depending on the size and weight of your garage door. Belt drive garage door mechanisms, for example, are motorised openers that use a belt to lift and lower the door, whereas torsion spring systems use the force from a tightly wound spring to raise or lower the door.
