TradePoint

In the UK, members can shop at over 181 B&Q stores which have a dedicated TradePoint counter as well as being able to also shop online at Tradepoint.co.uk. In Ireland, in 2022, we also successfully launched TradePoint at all eight of the B&Q stores there.       

Membership of TradePoint is exclusive to members of trades such as electricians, plasterers, fitters, plumbers, roofers, decorators, joiners, tilers, builders, landscapers and facilities and maintenance professionals who can join online or instore. 

Membership brings the benefits of the TradePoint loyalty discount scheme, whereby members spending £250 a month can qualify for a 5% discount or, if spending £1,000 can qualify for 10% discount for the rest of the month and the following three months. TradePoint members also have access to exclusive services such as:  

• Delivery of goods direct to site or other preferred location  

• Ongoing exclusive TradePoint promotions and offers  

• Free services such as timber cutting, kitchen, bathroom and bedroom planning and free Valspar trade paint mixing  

• Dedicated trade counters in most stores 

In FY22/23, TradePoint accounted for 22% of B&Q’s sales, growing 31.5% over the past three years. With 18 new counters opened in the UK and the launch of the brand in all eight stores in Ireland in the same year, we are continuing to strengthen our TradePoint proposition.
